Chelsea fans are saying the same thing after Mykhailo Mudryk’s display in the draw vs Burnley

Chelsea suffered yet another setback in their league season on Saturday after being held to a 2-2 draw at home to ten-man Burnley.

The Blues hosted Burnley today in the Premier League as top-flight football returned after the international break, but they blew a huge chance for maximum points.

Cole Palmer’s penalty kick on the stroke of half-time put the hosts ahead at Stamford Bridge, with Lorenz Assignon receiving a second yellow card as well. Josh Cullen equalised quickly after the interval, though.

In-form star Palmer scored his and Chelsea’s second in the 78th minute, but there was still time for a Dara O’Shea goal to earn Burnley a point.

Mykhailo Mudryk impact

Mudryk was rewarded for his recent improvement with another start against Burnley, occupying an attacking threat from the left wing.

The 23-year-old had a bit of a mixed bag overall, which included missing chances but also earning his side’s penalty for the opening goal.

Speaking via The Evening Standard before today’s game, Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino said he’s noticed Mudryk grow into a much more mature player as the season progresses.

We see a lot of positive signs from the Ukraine international. He can do so much more once his end product sharpens up, though.

In data recorded by FotMob from Chelsea versus Burnley, you can see Mudryk scored pretty highly in some areas for his 90 minute display.
