IHOP just launched two delicious new milkshakes that you need to try

Two sweet new milkshakes have launched at IHOP for spring, and you’re definitely going to want to try them.

They’ve arrived on the menu alongside a range of new food items too, including a pancake stack and chicken sandwich.

Royal Oak, Michigan, USA – February 28, 2012: The IHOP (International House of Pancakes) on Woodward in Royal Oak, Michigan. Founded in California …

New milkshakes arrive at IHOP

The first addition is a Cupcake House-Made Milkshake, which is hand-scooped vanilla ice cream with real milk, cupcake syrup, and rainbow sprinkles. It’s topped with whipped topping and more rainbow sprinkles.

The cake-batter flavored milkshake is sure to remind you of your childhood, and comes just weeks after Dairy Queen launched a similar item, the Confetti Cake Dipped Cone. It’s all about the cupcakes this spring!

If that’s not your thing, there’s also a new Cinn-A-Stack House-Made Milkshake inspired by the chain’s much-loved cinnamon pancakes, which are layered with cinnamon roll filling and topped with cream cheese icing.

The milkshake features hand-scooped premium vanilla ice cream, real milk, and cinnamon roll filling – and it’s topped with whipped cream and cinnamon sugar. Both cost $6.59 on the IHOP website, although prices may vary.

They join the pancake chain’s classic lineup of House-Made shakes: Vanilla, Strawberry, Chocolate and Oreo Cookie.

IHOP has also collaborated with Pepsi this month on a Maple Syrup Cola, which you can get as a Maple Syrup Cola Float with vanilla soft serve. Plus, there’s a new drink called Watermelon Splasher, which is a mix of lemonade, lemon-lime soda and watermelon syrup.

IHOP’s new spring food options

To eat alongside the shakes, IHOP has launched a Cinnamon Apple Pecan Pancake Stack, which consists of four buttermilk pancakes topped with cinnamon apples, dulce de leche sauce, pecans and whipped topping.

Four pancakes cost $10.59, or you can get them as a side option with just two pancakes for $7.59. There’s also a new $11.99 combo of the months with eggs, hickory smoked bacon or pork sausage and golden hash browns.

They are part of the new Pancake of the Month offer, which started in February and sees the chain launch a new flavor every single month, which you can get as a stack, side or combo.

If you fancy something savoury, the pancake house also has a new Classic Chicken Sandwich with your choice of grilled or crispy chicken breast and bacon, lettuce, tomato, four-cheese blend, avocado and buttermilk ranch on a grilled roll.

For $11.99, you can get it alongside your choice of side: Fries, Onion Rings, Sharp Cheddar Mac & Cheese, 2 Buttermilk Pancakes, Side Salad or Seasonal Fresh Fruit.
