Journalist claims Liverpool could sign Brazilian to replace Mo Salah, but there’s a big problem

There’s going to be plenty of change at Liverpool this summer.

The Reds are going to be waving goodbye to Jurgen Klopp come the end of the season, and a new manager will have to be installed.

Frustratingly, Klopp may not be the only high-profile departure from Anfield this summer.

Indeed, Mohamed Salah has consistently been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia, and those links aren’t going away.

Mohamed Salah’s Saudi links

As many will remember, Salah was the subject of a few massive bids from Saudi Arabia towards the end of the summer transfer window.

A £150m bid was reportedly rejected, but, as you may imagine, that’s not the end of that particular story.

Indeed, Saudi clubs continue to be linked with Salah, and according to Rudy Galetti, Saudi clubs will increase the pressure on Salah and Liverpool in the coming weeks.

Luckily, Galetti has also provided an update on who could replace Salah.

Liverpool’s potential Salah replacements

According to the journalist, Leroy Sane and Brazilian wonderkid, Estevao Willian, are potential options for Liverpool when it comes to replacing Salah.

Sane, as many will remember is tried and tested at Premier League level, having spent plenty of time at Manchester City as a youngster, but, Estevao is a much more risky option.

The 16-year-old has barely played a senior game, and the idea of him coming to Liverpool to replace Salah does seem rather far-fetched.

Indeed, not only has Estevao barely played senior football, he’s also unable to join an English club until at least 2025 until he turns 18 – much like Endrick.

Liverpool may be on the lookout for a Salah replacement this summer, and it’s hard to imagine that Michael Edwards and co will pick out a 16-year-old who won’t be able to sign for another 12 months to be the man to replace Salah.

Who knows? Perhaps Liverpool have the ultimate trick up their sleeve with this young man.
