‘He’s excellent’: Expert believes 20-year-old Chelsea youngster is ready to have an impact on the first team

According to an expert, Chelsea have a youngster who is already good enough to make an impression on the first team.

This is via twitter user TheSecretScout, who thinks one player who has hardly featured yet for the club has the ability to be a real plus for them right now.

Chelsea have spent a lot of money since new ownerTodd Boehly took over the club, with them smashing their club record fee on multiple occassions already.

They have spent big money on both Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo, with them both being available long-term since their additions.

This can not be said for a number of the other players at the club, with some of their signings hardly able to feature since joining the club.

One of those is Romeo Lavia, who joined with a lot of promise from Southampton after their relegation from the Premier League.

The Belgian decided to join the Blues over Liverpool, with the Reds seeming the favourites for a deal before he eventually made the switch to West London.

As of now though, the 20-year-old has only featured once for the side this season, and is likely not to play again off the back of mounting injury problems.

It has been a real shame to not see him feature for the side this season, with it unknown just how much of an impact he can have on the first team already.

TheSecretScout believes that he can be instrumental already though, with him being asked yesterday if he believes that Lavia can make a difference on the current underperforming Blues.

He said: “On build up yes! He’s excellent.”

It is likely to not be until next season where he makes an impact on the first team, however having another player who is ready to make a difference for the first team is certainly missing so far.
