Large urn in Great Cornard, near Sudbury, stolen from plinth in front garden

Police are appealing after a large urn has been reportedly stolen from a stone plinth in the front garden of a property near Sudbury.

The theft was sometime between midday on Tuesday, April 16, and 3pm on Wednesday, April 17, in Bures Road, Great Cornard.

The suspect/s removed the large lead urn from a stone plinth described as very heavy and measuring 2ft tall and 2ft 6 inches in diameter.

Officers ask witnesses or anybody with any information or who saw anything suspicious, to contact the Crime Coordination Centre, quoting reference: 37/21298/24 via the website.
