Tydd St Giles Golf Club's A and B teams started the season with fixtures against Subrook Moor GC and South Kyme GC.
The A team lost 3.5-2.5 at Sudbrook Moor GC (Harry Turner and Bradley Martin lost 6 and 5, Mick Vassall and Ady Bills halved, Luke Rowell and Ady Rowell lost 2 and 1, Ryan Rout and Lee Belger won 4 and 3, Oscar Panton and Andy Brooks lost 4 and 3, Brad Simpson and Shane Millar won 1 up).
The B team drew 3-3 with South Kyme GC (Joe Kellegher and Graeme Barritte won 1 up, Wayne Jupp and Daniel Monaghan lost 3 and 2, Jon Schultz and Clive Barber won 4 and 3, Neil John and Isaac Chaplain-Barton lost 3 and 2, Derek Kneebone and Mark Cooper won 4 and 3, David Woodcock and Steve Dewey lost 3 and 2).
Tydd St Giles ladies took part in the Tasker Trophy, played over two rounds against Burghley Park Golf Club.
Tydd triumphed 5 and 2 in the away match before securing a 4 and 3 success at home to win 9 and 5 overall.
