Report: What Nottingham Forest are now privately admitting after making public statement following Everton game

A report has shared how Nottingham Forest are feeling behind the scenes after their very open outburst after losing to Everton on Sunday.

The Reds were left stunned when referee Anthony Taylor and VAR Stuart Attwell failed to award Forest three penalties.

The Reds ended up losing the game 2-0 and the club’s relegation fears worsened with this result.

Forest have just four games to save themselves and after the ridiculous display of refereeing, the club went on the offensive.

The Reds released a statement after the game, questioning the integrity of Attwell – who is apparently a Luton Town supporter.

Forest were bashed for such a sentiment by Alan Shearer and Micah Richards who found the ordeal rather amusing.

Now, a report has claimed how Forest are feeling privately about the post ahead of their big game against Manchester City on Sunday.

Report shares how Nottingham Forest feel about statement they posted

Well, it’s been quite a day or so since Forest were beaten at Everton and it appears that the club has finally snapped.

Enough really is enough from a Forest perspective and it would appear that Evangelos Marinakis is now on the attack.

However, a report from theDaily Mail claims that behind the scenes, Forest accept they perhaps acted inappropriately.

It’s claimed they feel that they acted with emotion and haste, although that stance is unlikely to prevent a hefty fine.

Forest are in the dock once again and now they will be awaiting the verdict of another investigation from the Football Association.

Forest must be careful with claims of this nature

The Reds need to make sure they are extremely careful and they can’t keep annoying the powers that be in this manner with the claims they keep making.

Forest are going to have their appeal heard this week after breaching financial fair play and quite simply they can’t keep being so forceful with their opinions.

However, the Reds are only saying what others are thinking. The standards in the Premier League this season have been nothing short of shocking.

Forest can’t be the only club with feelings of this nature but ultimately professional outlets have a responsibility to act accordingly.

The club hasn’t done that here and for questioning Attwell’s integrity the club could find themselves in hot water once more.
