Indeed, gone is the turgid, defensive style of Antonio Conte that required magic from Harry Kane to save their skins, now Ange Postecoglou is here and he’s got Spurs playing some of the most entertaining football you’ll ever see.
Tottenham’s players genuinely look to be enjoying themselves again, and speaking on the Undr the Cosh Podcast, Tim Sherwood has noted how different one Spurs player in particular looks.

Sherwood spoke about Yves Bissouma, claiming that you now wouldn’t recognise him from the player he was last season.
“You have played who I was very critical of how they were being deployed under different managers. Porro is one of them, Bissouma, there are so many that you wouldn’t recognise now. They’re playing in the right positions and they are entertaining people at the moment,” Sherwood said.

Sherwood is spot on, Yves Bissouma has transformed this season, but, frustratingly, he’s transformed on more than one occasion.
Indeed, Bissouma started this season brilliantly – looking unrecognisable from the player he was last season, but since the turn of the year, he’s been off his game – looking unrecognisable from the player he was during the first few weeks of the season.
We really like Bissouma as a player and when he’s at his best he’s a top player, but, unfortunately, we’ve not seen that much from the central midfielder in recent months.
Ange Postecoglou clearly knows how to get the best out of the £25m man, and we can only hope he can rediscover his best form very soon.
