Report: What will happen now between Nottingham Forest and Howard Webb

A fresh report has now shared what will happen between Nottingham Forest and Howard Webb in the coming days.

The debate is rumbling on regarding the decisions made by Stuart Attwell on VAR against Everton on Sunday.

Forest are in danger of being relegated this season with Luton have much easier remaining fixtures than the Reds.

However, they too are in poor form and all is not lost with just four matches of the campaign remaining.

Attwell was in the thick of the action again last night as Wolves took on Bournemouth at Molineux.

He disallowed a goal for pretty much next to nothing, leading the home crowd to turn pretty nasty towards him.

Now, a report has explained what will happen next in the dispute between Forest and the PGMOL.

What will happen next between Howard Webb and Nottingham Forest

Well, it wouldn’t appear as though this one is going to go anywhere any time soon and the debate is going to rumble on.

Forest are keen to get answers, although it’s not entirely clear what they meant with their ‘considering their options’ comment at the weekend.

Now, the Daily Mail claims that Webb intends to meet with Nottingham Forest to try and call a truce on the whole debacle.

The meeting is going to be with Evangelos Marinakis or the club’s minority shareholder Sokratis Kominakis and could take place this week.

Forest have formally requested to hear the audio recording of the incidents on Saturday that led to the Reds not being awarded three penalty kicks.

It’s far too late for Webb to act and his position is now perilous

This isn’t the first episode that Forest have had to put up with this season and Attwell should never have been put in that position on Sunday.

It’s complete incompetence on Webb’s part for him to be putting a possible Luton fan on VAR for a game with such huge importance.

It’s quite ridiculous that things have got to this with the Premier League this season being blighted by points deductions and refereeing howlers.

Now, Forest will get a chance to vent their anger towards Webb in person but really, what will it achieve in the short term?

Our guess is that the relationship between the PGMOL and Forest is beyond repair and all this meeting will do is annoy Marinakis even further.
