Woman in 80s injured after A1092 Melford Road, Cavendish, near Sudbury, fail-to-stop two-vehicle crash

A woman in her 80s was injured after a fail-to-stop two-vehicle crash in a village yesterday.

The woman was driving a Vauxhall Mokka on the A1092 Melford Road, Cavendish, near Sudbury, when it collided with a heavy goods vehicle (HGV) at around 2.30pm.

The right wing-mirror of the Vauxhall was damaged while the HGV failed to stop and the woman suffered minor injuries.

Officers would like to speak to those with information that may have witnessed the incident, including those who stopped to help the woman.
