Crystal Palace drew 1-1 with Fulham on Saturday afternoon but there was one player who blew away Michael Dawson.
For Oliver Glasner, the winning streak came to an end on Saturday as his side drew 1-1 with Fulham.
But quite encouragingly for the Austrian, it was a draw that Crystal Palace deserved and the goal to seal it probably was worthy of more.
Despite Jean-Philippe Mateta having an off day, the Eagles still found a way to secure a point as Jeffery Schlupp scored an absolute beauty – something we wouldn’t have predicted.
Adam Wharton as usual was a star, even assisting the winner – although it was the kind of goal that sees the assist maker forgotten about.
Now, pundit Michael Dawson has shared what blew him away.

A player many had written off but seems to be another who has been revitalised by Glasner is Schlupp.
The German scored a wondergoal in the 87th minute to rescue a point for Palace which left Sky Sports’ Dawson raving about the finish.
“And it was some goal. Wow! We don’t see a better goal today, I don’t think.
It goes to Jeffrey Schlupp. He takes it across his body, 20 yards out, he takes a little bounce-up, half-volley, and hits the post, into the top corner. What a goal!”
Dawson’s right, it was a superb goal and from a source that not many would predict either which makes it all the more special.
Schlupp may have staked a claim for a contract
Schlupp is another name who is set to see his contract expire in a matter of months now but will be giving the decision-makers a headache.
He’ll have joined Will Hughes in doing so as both have shown they have more to give despite looking finished before Glasner arrived.
With a 7.9 match rating on FotMob, despite only being subbed on in the 76th minute, it’s clear Schlupp has improved.
In fact, he barely put a foot wrong in his cameo, even creating a chance. If he continues like this, it’ll be tough for Palace to let him go, with so much work to do this summer anyway.
