An incident in which a 16-year-old Ferris High School student is accused of fondling another student at the school is being investigated by Jersey City police, authorities said.
Police responding to the school Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. were told one boy inappropriately touched another boy, who is also 16, Jersey City spokeswoman Kimberly Wallace-Scalcione said.
Due to the nature of the complaint and the ages of those involved, no further information was released.
Jersey City Superintendent Norma Fernandez acknowledged the alleged “fondling incident” and said it was reported to the proper authorities.
