After Crystal Palace beat Manchester United 4-0 on Monday night, Jeffrey Schlupp interacted with a certain away supporter.
Monday night will live long in the memory of Crystal Palace supporters as the night they watched the Eagles utterly destroy the 20-time league winners.
It was a wonderful sign of just how far Oliver Glasner has taken his team in what hasn’t been a long period of time.
Four wins in five, and Palace are on track to finish close to the teams fighting for the top 10, which bodes well for the 2024-25 season and onwards under the Austrian.
But right now, we want to look at what Jeffrey Schlupp did after beating United 4-0.
What did Jeffrey Schlupp say to Angry Ginge?
Speaking in a clip on X, YouTuber Yung Filly has explained what Schlupp said to fellow YouTuber and United fan Angry Ginge after the game on Monday night.
“I didn’t know we could beat United the way we beat them you know. Then he’s gone to me and Ginge, ‘Oh what did you think of the game?’.
“But Ginge had his United hat on and then he’s clocked the United hat and he’s gone, ‘hold that’ and I started dying.”
This is obviously hilarious and shows a rare side to Schlupp as he mocks the United fan for his team’s heavy defeat which Schlupp helped to inflict.
Schlupp should get a new Crystal Palace contract
Despite previously looking set to depart the club for free when his contract expires in June, Schlupp has been slowly becoming more and more important over recent weeks.

After scoring the brilliant equaliser against Fulham, the perception of him has changed slightly with this clip further endearing him to the fanbase.
Given how many positions Palace are believed to be keen to strengthen this summer, keeping Schlupp as an option on another year contract wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world.
This could free up the budget needed to get an extra defender as opposed to replacing another player set to depart for free.
