‘Special’ summer target Tottenham are eyeing now demanding £300k-per-week salary

One of Tottenham Hotspur’s summer transfer targets is now believed to be demanding a salary of £300k-per-week at his potential new club.

Several changes could be made by Ange Postecoglou to this Tottenham squad with the Australian having had a full season season to work with his squad.

The two transfer windows which the 58-year-old has had at the club have already seen plenty of players come and go.

Most noteworthy of the dealings being the sale of Harry Kane to Bayern Munich last summer; a sale which Spurs are yet to really address with a direct replacement.

But it seems this summer could see Tottenham look to really bolster their attack having seen their forwards struggle for form in recent weeks.

However, one of the players who has been linked with a potential summer move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is now said to be demanding a huge weekly salary.

Some big money players could be heading for the exit this summer with the likes of Tanguy Ndombele, but this would be an arrival which would reportedly break Tottenham’s wage structure.

Tottenham summer target is now demanding over £100k-per-week what Heung-min Son earns

Going into the summer transfer window, the Tottenham captain, Heung-min Son, is currently the club’s highest earner.

The South Korean is said to be earning a weekly wage in the region of £190k-per-week with one year remaining on his current deal.

It is believed that a new deal is in the works for the Tottenham captain as Spurs look to secure his future beyond 2025.

Spurs have also been linked with a potential move for Athletic Club winger Nico Williams ahead of the summer window.

However, it has now been reported that the ‘special‘ 21-year-old Spaniard is looking for an offer of a £300k-per-week salary.

Immediately, that would suggest that any possibility of a moving to Hotspur Way could be out of the picture.

It remains to be seen what level of finances are put into this summer’s transfer window by Daniel Levy.

But offering a player who is unproven in the Premier League and still just 21-years-old such a high salary feels incredibly unlikely.

Interesting Nico Williams stats that show he’s perfect for Tottenham

This summer has to see Tottenham address their frontline with Timo Werner‘s future still uncertain in north London.

The Spurs attack has completely come off the boil in recent weeks and some further firepower will be needed over the summer.

And Williams has shown this season that he could certainly be a player who could provide some excitement to Tottenham’s front three.

Clearly, Williams is a player who has a lot of potential and could improve the options at Tottenham, but the reported salary demands would likely be a huge factor for Spurs.
