Incoming West Ham United manager Julen Lopetegui intends to sell only one star man this summer.
Much is expected of Julen Lopetegui at West Ham, especially with no European football to bog down our Premier League campaign.
The 57-year-old is allegedly planning to get his transfer business done early this summer, and that will be a really welcome change for the Hammers fans!
Up to 12 players could leave the London Stadium this summer, and Lopetegui is apparently eyeing up to six exciting new signings.
The new West Ham boss will apparently have around £145 million to spend this summer (Claret and Hugh), but he’ll probably have to sell some players as well, in order to actually be given the entirety of those funds.
And one player in particular seems to be set for a London Stadium exit…

The Spaniard is all set to mix things up at the London Stadium when the summer transfer window opens.
However, Lopetegui will not be overseeing a fire sale of our best players, that’s for sure.
There is only one of our key players who the 57-year-old is willing to let go.
According to a report from The Athletic, Hammers midfielder Lucas Paqueta is the only star man who Lopetegui is willing to let go this summer.
Manchester City allegedly want to sign Paqueta before the start of next season, and if he leaves it will be for a fee worth around £85 million.
As much as I love the 26-year-old, I’d take £85 million for him all day long.
And if Julen Lopetegui is to sell one star man, I’d choose Paqueta over the likes of Jarrod Bowen and Mohammed Kudus every single day of the week.
It remains to be seen whether Man City, or any other clubs for that matter, will be willing to pay his release clause though.
