24-year-man dies after being shot multiple times in N.J. city, investigators say

A 24-year-old Camden died Friday afternoon after he was shot multiple times in the city, authorities said.

Officers were called to the 800 block of Princeton Avenue at 12:22 p.m. for a report of a gunfire and found Marcus Crobitt suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, according to a statement from the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office.

Corbitt was rushed to Cooper University Hospital. He was pronounced dead at 1:15 p.m., the office said.

No other information was released Friday as the shooting was still under investigation.
