Three Chelsea players who have played their last game after Bournemouth win - opinion

Chelsea beat Bournemouth 2-1 on the final weekend of the Premier League in a game that could be the last at Stamford Bridge for a few players.

It was definitely the final time Thiago Silva put on a Chelsea shirt, with the central defender joining Fluminense this summer.

But who else could follow him out of the exit door?

Conor Gallagher

Conor Gallagher has been one of Chelsea’s best players this season.

The midfielder proved that once again in the Blues’ victory over Bournemouth, making a crucial block at the end of the game.

It epitomised how hard he is willing to work for the team.

However, with Gallagher about to enter the final year of his contract and no closer to signing a new one, it looks like Chelsea are going to have to sell him.

Trevoh Chalobah

Trevoh Chalobah is another Chelsea player who has performed well when he has been on the pitch this season.

For example, in his side’s 2-1 win against Brighton & Hove Albion during the week, he made four tackles. That was more than anyone else on the pitch, according to WhoScored.

Based on how Chalobah has played since returning from his injury, he should not be sold.

The problem is Mauricio Pochettino has quite a few centre-back options and with Chalobah being someone the club can make pure profit on, he may have played his last game in blue.

Cesare Casadei

Cesare Casadei started the season on loan at Leicester City but returned to Chelsea in January, suggesting that he could have a role in Pochettino’s squad.

However, the midfielder has barely played since being recalled, failing to start a single match.

It has been claimed that Chelsea could offer Casadei in a player-plus-cash deal for Napoli talisman Victor Osimhen.

The Italian has not been at Stamford Bridge for long, but his Chelsea career may already be over.
