Fabrizio Romano reveals ‘incredible’ striker has release clause of just £15m, and he’s on Tottenham’s radar

Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing a striker this summer who has a release clause of just £15m despite enjoying a sensational campaign.

With the Premier League campaign now wrapped up for Tottenham, attention will now switch on to the summer transfer window.

Ange Postecoglou‘s men have been able to secure themselves Europa League football for next season but they now need a squad that is capable of competing.

This summer has already promised to bring change to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with Postecoglou admitting exits will be sanctioned.

One potential exit which could be seen is the Brazilian forward Richarlison who has struggled this season through injury.

The Spurs News understand he is a player who Tottenham would be willing to sell if they were to receive a satisfactory bid.

And now Fabrizio Romano has revealed one of the players who could potentially replace Richarlison would be available for just £15m this summer.

Tottenham eyeing ‘incredible’ striker who’s available for bargain price

This summer is going to say a lot about whether Tottenham are going to be able to compete across all front next season.

Having played without any European football this season, Spurs still struggled in the cup competitions and injuries riddled their squad.

Quality in depth is going to be needed and finding a new striker does feel essential with Heung-min Son carrying the burden in front of goal.

Harry Kane‘s exit was never going to be an easy one to replace, but Richarlison’s struggles since signing for Spurs make it difficult to see him as the future at Spurs.

One of the strikers who is said to be on Tottenham’s radar this summer is the Stuttgart talisman Serhou Guirassy.

And according to Fabrizio Romano, the 28-year-old striker will be available this summer for just £15m with his release clause active.

Guirassy has enjoyed a stunning campaign in the Bundesliga where he returned 28 goals in his 28 appearances.

And the displays for Stuttgart – who finished the season ahead of Bayern Munich – received “incredible” praise as he showed his worth in front of goal.

What Serhou Guirassy said about Harry Kane

The Guinea international has been pushed this season in the race for the Golden Boot by the former Tottenham striker, Kane.

Guirassy missed out on the top prize as he finished second behind the England captain (36) despite offering Stuttgart a sensational return.

And Guirassy has admitted that he watches Kane a lot on TV and has looked to learn from the Tottenham record goalscorer.

“I watch a lot of football on TV and I like to watch players like Lewandowski, Kane or [Erling] Haaland and analyse what they are doing,” he told The Guardian.

“You learn from the best and scoring goals is an art. I like to play with the ball but the most important thing is to be ready in the box.”
