‘He’s so dangerous’: Bernardo Silva says Tottenham have a player who is frightening to play against

Manchester City have been crowned as Premier League champions, and they may have one Tottenham player to thank for their triumph.

Indeed, City beat Spurs in their penultimate game of the Premier League season, but things could’ve been so different.

A late chance squandered by Heung-Min Son was the difference on the day, and speaking to Sky Sports, Bernardo Silva has been discussing this chance and the South Korean’s miss.

Silva stated that his heart was in his mouth at that point, claiming that he fully expected Son to score.

Silva noted that Son is usually such a reliable player in front of goal, claiming that he is so dangerous.

Heung-Min Son is so dangerous

Silva spoke about Son’s miss against City and how dangerous he is as a player.

“I might have to say Ortega’s save against Son, my heart at that point was, I had the feeling, I just looked at the clock to see, do we still have time to score if this guy actually scores.”

“Son in a number one usually never misses,” The interviewer said.

“He’s so dangerous yeah . But it was an unbelievable save from our ‘keeper and you need these special moments from players to win titles and that one was a very important moment for us.”

Son should’ve scored

Heung-Min Son really should’ve scored this chance, and nine times out of ten, you would back him to find the net from here.

Son is one of the most lethal finishers in the Premier League, he’s constantly overperformed his expected goals – if you buy into that stat much, and he’s so good when he’s one on one in particular.

Unfortunately for Spurs, in this moment, Son didn’t manage to find that finishing touch, but, as Silva says, he’s a dangerous player who will put things right the next time he’s in this sort of situation.
