£25m Tottenham player could be first summer exit as his camp have now been contacted by several clubs

Tottenham Hotspur could now have their first summer exit in the works with the camp of one of their players being contacted by several clubs.

Exits are on the menu at Hotspur Way over the coming weeks with Ange Postecoglou already preparing fans for player departures.

The Australian has already made a positive start to the changes he is implementing at Tottenham now almost one year after being appointed.

Spurs have completed the 2023/24 campaign and secured Europa League football for next season.

However, there have still been clear areas where Spurs need to improve for the upcoming campaign with stronger squad depth very much needed.

And now it already seems like one player could be heading for the exit doors at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with clubs seemingly keen to sign him.

Tottenham player’s camp in talks over summer transfer

It is believed Tottenham have already compiled a list of 15 players who they would be open to selling this summer.

The list ranges from players like Bryan Gil all the way to Richarlison with Postecoglou keen to offload players who do not serve a purpose to his plans.

One of the players who is included in that list is Brazilian full-back Emerson Royal who has endured a tough run at Spurs this season.

Despite this, it is now claimed the 25-year-old could be set for a big move over the coming months with a number of clubs interested.

According to Trivela, Emerson’s camp have now received contact from several clubs over his availability this summer.

AC Milan and Bayern Munich have reportedly both presented offers already for the Brazilian with interest also coming in from Saudi Arabia.

It is claimed the full-back is keen on making a move to a club where he feels it could benefit his chances of being selected for the Brazilian national side.

Tottenham need cover on both sides of defence

Signing Radu Dragusin in January provided Tottenham with the depth they need at centre-back, but the recent injury to Destiny Udogie has only highlighted the struggles at full-back.

Tottenham have one of the Premier League’s best full-back duos in Udogie and Pedro Porro, however, the options behind them are clearly not of a good enough standard.

With Europa League football to contend with next season, Spurs are going to need quality in depth for Postecoglou to feel comfortable enough to rotate his squad.

The Spurs News understand the club are keeping tabs on their former full-back Kyle Walker-Peters with the 27-year-old capable of playing on either side of the defence.

Having signed for £25m, the Brazilian may now have capped off his Spurs career with a dismal display in Australia against Newcastle.
