A potential European push never took off after multiple injuries combined with the lack of depth halted the campaign.

This summer, Wolves have the opportunity to kick on and finally fix many of the problems they have had for years. However, departures may also occur throughout the summer.

This article lists every player who has been linked to or from Wolves since the beginning of May. As the summer progresses, this article will continue to be updated.

Goalkeepers linked to Wolves

Jacob Widell was linked to Wolves at the end of May. Playing in the Swedish top tier for Djurgårdens IF, he is considered a real talent in the Scandinavian country.

Burnley goalkeeper Aro Muric was linked to Wolves in May. The shot-stopper forced James Trafford out of the Clarets’ starting XI towards the end of the season but was unable to prevent their relegation.

Defenders linked to Wolves

Luton wing-back Alfie Doughty was linked to Wolves in May. The defender picked up an impressive eight assists despite the Hatters’ relegation from the Premier League.

West Ham defender Ben Johnson was linked to Wolves in mid-May. The defender is out of contract at the Hammers in the summer ahead of Julen Lopotegui’s first season at the club.

Real Betis defender Juan Miranda was linked to Wolves in early May. The left-back is out of contract and has a host of admirers outside of Spain.

Midfielders linked to Wolves

No major outlets have linked a midfielder to Wolves this summer.

Wingers linked to Wolves

In May, Wolves were linked with Ramon Sosa. The Paraguayan winger is believed to be interested by several Premier League sides including Newcastle.

Viktor Tsygankov was linked to Wolves in May. The winger plays in the Spanish League for Girona and helped them qualify for the Champions League for the first time ever. He scored six and assisted six in 29 La Liga matches.

Norwich winger Jothanan Rowe was linked to Wolves in May. The future star played a big role at the Canaries throughout the 2023/24 season as they reached the playoffs.

Colombian winger Jhon Arias was linked to Wolves in May. The attacker can play in multiple positions and has had a successful season in Brazil for Fluminense.

Werder Bremen winger Justin Njinmah was linked to Wolves in early May. At the German side, he has enjoyed a good spell. This summer, Njinmah is currently out of contract.

Strikers linked to Wolves

One of the major players linked to Wolves in May was Che Adams. The Southampton striker was part of the side that oversaw promotion back to the Premier League via the playoffs. Adams is currently out of contract this summer.

Armando Broja was once again linked to Wolves in May. The Chelsea striker spent the second half of the 2023/24 season on loan at Fulham despite speculation that he might join the Old Gold last January.

Mohamed Amoura currently makes his trade at Union SG in Belgium. The striker enjoyed a good spell in the Lowland country contributing to 30 goals last season. According to reports in May, Wolves have enquired about Amoura.

Which Wolves players have been linked away?

Captain Max Kilman’s future has been subject to plenty of speculation. The defender played a key role for the club in the 2023/24 season under O’Neil. This has led to Manchester United being linked to Kilman with West Ham also showing interest in the Wolves defender.

Nelson Semedo has been another player whose future is in doubt. The wing-back was another key player and won the Players’ Player of the Season for Old Gold. Semedo’s future long-term future at Wolves is ‘not guaranteed’ according to reports in May.

Pedro Neto has been a star player for Wolves since he joined the club from Lazio in 2019. However, this has caused multiple clubs to be linked to the winger. Arsenal are long-term admirers of Neto and in May were believed to be ‘seriously considering’ a summer move.

Daniel Podence looks set for a permanent move away from Wolves this summer. The Portuguese winger spent the 2023/24 season on loan at Olympiacos where he shone. As a result, Podence is linked to a permanent move to the Olympiacos this summer.

Fabio Silva is yet to set the world alight at Molineux. The striker was once again sent out on loan, this time to Rangers for the second half of the 2023/24 season. Despite doing little to impress, Silva has been linked to Sevilla and AC Milan ahead of a summer move.

Pablo Sarabia managed to become a regular starter in Wolves’ first team under O’Neil. However, his stay at Molineux could soon come to an end. At the start of May, Sarabia was linked with a move to Turkish side Besiktas, with the Mediterranean side reportedly making contact with the Spaniard.
