‘100%’: Christopher Nkunku and Mykhailo Mudryk agree on what the best Chelsea goal was last season

One thing that can certainly be agreed on amongst Chelsea fans this season is they were definitely treated to some drama.

Dramatic wins against Manchester United and Tottenham rank amongst anything else seen in the Premier League this season, with Cole Palmer frequently being the man to step up in those big moments.

Mauricio Pochettino also led the Blues to Wembley twice, however their hoodoo at the famous old ground continued as they were defeated late both times.

To go with a string of brilliant games, the players provided some outstanding goals. Palmer himself contributed more than a couple of fantastic finishes.

The Chelsea Instagram account ran a post sharing which goal some of the first team squad voted as their favourite of the season, with a number of options coming in.

Nkunku and Mudryk vote Moises Caicedo goal as best

However, both Christopher Nkunku and Mykhailo Mudyrk were in agreement that we had to wait until the end of the season to see the greatest strike.

Moises Caicedo had to wait a while to open his Chelsea account, however he did so in some style when he found the net from near the halfway line against Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge.

The goal encaptured the good feeling that had returned to West London in those weeks, as they climbed up the table to eventually secure some form of European football.

The Ecuador international got better as the season went on last campaign, and is likely to play a key role again under the new manager next season.

It is expected to be just hours until the club announce Enzo Maresca as the next head coach, after parting ways with Pochettino.
