‘Most likely’: Arsenal’s ‘unbelievable’ young attacker is probably going to be sold now – journalist

Arsenal have some big decisions to make with their young players this summer.

The likes of Charlie Patino and Reuell Walters are at a bit of a crossroads in their careers right now, and Arsenal need to decide what to do next with these young talents.

Another player in a similar situation is Mika Biereth.

The former Fulham striker has enjoyed two decent loan spells over the past two years with Motherwell and Sturm Graz, but now, at the age of 21, he needs to make a decision on his future.

Speaking on Inside Arsenal, Charles Watts has been discussing Biereth’s future at Arsenal, and he says that the most likely outcome for the striker this summer is that he’s sold.

Mika Biereth likely to be sold

Watts spoke about the ‘unbelievable‘ youngster after Arsenal released a mini-documentary about his loan spell.

“I saw it and I thought it was exactly what they did with Balogun. I don’t think that it’s a way to get clubs excited. I still think that by far and away the most likely option this summer with Mika Biereth is that he goes, just because of his contract situation which was very similar to Balogun,” Watts said.

“I still think he will go. I don’t think it pushes up his value. I don’t think any buying clubs will see that Arsenal did a documentary on him and then add another million or two million to his pricetag. I think it’s just a decent bit of content.”

Mika Biereth’s time is up

Mika Biereth arrived at Arsenal from Fulham looking like a serious prospect.

The striker was scoring for fun at youth level for the Cottagers, but, frustratingly, that hasn’t really translated into the Arsenal senior team.

Biereth has never played a senior game for the Gunners, and while his loan spells have been decent, he’s not exactly blown anyone away.

The harsh reality is that you have to be something seriously special to make it at Arsenal, and Biereth may not have what it takes.
