Donald Trump contemplates how Melania and Barron will cope with his conviction

Neither Melania nor Barron were present at Donald’s recent trial. The jury reached the verdict, and the judge has set his sentencing date for Thursday, July 11th 2024. Since then, he has given an exclusive interview with F&F (Fox & Friends) weekend TV, sharing his thoughts on how the family will be navigating the ordeal.

“It’s tougher, I think it’s probably in many ways it’s tougher on my family than it is on me,” Donald said of his family at wide. “They’re good people, all of them, everyone.”

Speaking specifically on how Melania may be handling it, he added: “I have a wonderful wife who has to listen to this stuff all the time. They do that for this reason. They do that… and I’m not even allowed to defend myself because of a gag order… I think it’s very hard for her, you know she has to read all this c**p.”

He’s evidently concerned about how his family will deal with his conviction. All the same, he said of Barron “He’s amazing, actually. He’s tall, good-looking, he’s a very good student. He’s applied to colleges and gets into everywhere he goes, you know? He’s very sought after from the standpoint, he’s a very smart guy.” Laying it on further, he called his son “pretty cool.”

Although he has already been convicted, Trump is still eligible to run for president.

Stormy Daniels delivers her advice to Melania Trump

Melania has yet to offer any official comment or personal response to her husband’s trial or conviction, which dealt with his and Stormy’s alleged affair just one year into his marriage to Melania.

“I don’t know what their agreement may or may not be,” Stormy said of the couple during an interview with the Sunday Mirror, “but Melania needs to leave him. Not because of what he did with me or other women, but because he is a convicted felon.”

Elaborating on her thoughts surrounding the case, she said Donald “should be sentenced to jail,” as well as community service.

Trump denies all charges in the conviction, and his attorney said he would be seeking an appeal.
