Miley Cyrus fans 'beg for mercy' as she bares all in new photoshoot

Miley Cyrus’ latest photoshoot has fans begging for “some mercy” and arguing she looks “better than ever.”

Miley Cyrus came in like a wrecking ball, giving the Disney Channel generation its greatest star courtesy of the immensely popular sitcom series Hannah Montana. She became a pop music icon almost overnight, championed as a child star sensation. As her career progressed, she would reinvent herself on albums like 2013’s smash hit Bangerz, embracing the controversy that came with such a drastic switch-up. The 31-year-old American singer-songwriter continues to defy easy categorization and genre pigeonholing, even unveiling a rock album in 2020 with Plastic Hearts. Following her first-ever Grammy win in the Best Pop Solo Performance for Flowers, fans have been treated once again to an unreal photoshoot.

Miley Cyrus fans in awe of ‘absolutely gorgeous’ photoshoot

Interviewed for ‘The Pop Issue’ of W Magazine, Miley’s latest photoshoot has left her fandom in total awe.

“Miley Cyrus have some mercy,” one of her adoring fans reacted, tweeting out four images from the recent shoot.

With compliments ranging from “goddess” to “the finest girl,” fans are swarming onto X/Twitter to share how “absolutely gorgeous” she looks.

“She looks better than ever,” one argued, another fan tweeting that she “looks like a whole new woman.”

Some have even drawn comparisons to Taylor Swift when assessing her new look. She’s “in her Taylor era,” one suggested.

The shoot has given both long-term and new fans something to cherish, but those who have been obsessed from the beginning are particularly entranced by her looks, sharing parallels with her in her Hannah Montana days.

Miley Cyrus didn’t mince words speaking about her Grammy glory

Although the Grammy win is an undeniable achievement for Miley as an artist and master of her craft, as well as a triumph for her fans, it may have been a little too late for her liking.

“No shade, but I’ve been doing this for 20 years,” she began when discussing the win with W Magazine, “and this is my first time actually being taken seriously at the Grammys? I’ve had a hard time figuring out what the measurement is there, because if we want to talk stats and numbers, then where the f**k was I?”

But there’s more where that came from: “And if you want to talk, like, impact on culture, then where the f**k was I? This is not about arrogance. I am proud of myself.”

Her performance of Flowers at the awards ceremony is sure to go down as a particularly special moment in her career no matter what.

“I wrote on this dream board that I wanted to show up to the Grammys with a childlike confidence,” she said. “… My 12-year-old self got to come out and play, while my 31-year-old self was in Bob Mackie with big hair.”
