Report: Club desperately trying to flog their star man to West Ham for £25 million

Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri is clearly one of the main transfer targets for West Ham United this summer.

West Ham have been chasing Youssef En-Nesyri since way back in the 2021 January transfer window, and now we finally might get our man.

Julen Lopetegui needs to sign a proven centre-forward this summer, and we recently told you how En-Nesyri, 27, is keen to reunite with the Hammers boss.

The Morocco international spent two-and-a-half years playing under Lopetegui at Sevilla, and he played a key role in the Spaniard’s system.

The West Ham boss likes his teams to press aggressively from the front, and there isn’t a better fit for his setup than En-Nesyri.

The centre-forward would complete our front-line, and the thought of him playing alongside Jarrod Bowen, Mohammed Kudus and Lucas Paqueta is an extremely exciting one.

Now it seems like the path is clear for West Ham to finally bring him to the London Stadium.

Sevilla desperately trying to sell Youssef En-Nesyri to West Ham

The former Leganes hitman may well be set for a big move to the Premier League this summer.

And the Hammers won’t ever have a better chance to sign him than we do right now.

According to Diario de Sevilla, Sevilla are desperately trying to sell the 27-year-old to the Hammers for £25 million before June 30th.

That’s because they need to balance the books with finances currently really tight at The Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium.

In order to avoid financial sanctions, Sevilla need to raise funds quickly, and selling En-Nesyri to West Ham would solve their problems instantly.

I think for that price, bringing the striker to the London Stadium is an absolute no-brainer.

En-Nesyri has bagged 73 goals in 194 appearances for Sevilla (Transfermarkt) – better than a goal every three games.

He has an impressive 113 goals for club and country to his name – a very decent return considering that he’s only 27.

The Moroccan is hard-working, incredibly strong in the air, is always willing to run the channels and is a very good finisher.

West Ham signing Youssef En-Nesyri for £25 million this summer would be a great deal for us as far as I’m concerned.
