Children at a school will now have more choice when visiting their library after books were donated.

Platform Home Ownership recently delivered a stack of books to Chuter Ede Primary School.

The books provided were suitable for a variety of year groups, including subjects such as history, animals, music and more.

It is hoped the books will help to contribute towards the topics that children will learn about in the classroom.

This is the second book-related initiative provided to the school in recent months with a professional storyteller delivering an engaging routine to year one students for Children’s Book Week back in November last year.

Rachel Revill, head at Chuter Ede Primary School, said: “We’re incredibly grateful for this donation of books from Platform which will go a long way to helping our pupils understand a range of topics.

“Reading is such an important aspect of learning different subjects, so to be blessed with a wide-ranging donation such as this will help to broaden the children’s horizons.

“We’d like to thank Platform for this generous donation, it’s super to see that local businesses like to benefit the community.”

Sabina Cox, Marketing Manager at Platform said, “We’re really pleased to have provided this donation to the children of Chuter Ede Primary School.

“We hope that the pupils enjoy digging into these great tales, and that it helps to inspiring a love of reading or other passions within the stories.

“At Platform, we’re passionate about enhancing the communities we provide homes for, and this extends way beyond simply our new homes developments. We look forward to helping out Chuter Ede and other local services in the future.”
