Old friends Cara Delevingne and Taylor Swift reunited for an adorable snap this week, though some Swifties fell for bait left by trolls underneath the picture.
It’s been a manic few weeks for superstar Taylor Swift as she continues her Eras Tour world domination, though she still made time to stop in and visit an old pal in Cara Delevingne while in the UK this week. Delevigne was greeted backstage by the Bad Blood singer, who dropped in to watch her perform in a cabaret show at the iconic London Palladium on Wednesday evening. And while most people enjoyed the wholesome pic of the pair, it’s fair to say some Swift fans were fairly rattled by a couple of trolls in the replies.

The latest snap of the Hollywood star and the pop icon taken on June 6 quickly racked up more than half a million views as fans of the pair flocked to commemorate the two “queens”.
“They’re both stunning”, wrote one adoring fan, while another inquired: “Ok where’s the sweater from though miss tay tay”.
One viewer, however, clearly in search of a few angry replies – wrote cheekily: “oh Taylor and a fan”, which, unsurprisingly, did not go down well with Swifties.

“Can you get a job holy s**t”, wrote one annoyed Swift defender, who was backed up by another like-minded viewer who rather rudely told the tweeter to “stfu”.
The audacious poster was then labeled “a whale” by one particularly foul-mouthed Swiftie, before a more innocuous fan defended Delevingne, whom she claimed “has been a taywarrior since 2012”.
Swift and Delevingne are long-term pals
While some Swifties were squabbling with windup merchants online, the last fan made a rather prudent point when they pointed out that Swift and Delevingne’s friendship goes back a long way.
Casting our minds back just shy of a decade to 2015, the London-born model starred in Swift’s now-iconic Bad Blood music video, alongside a star-studded cast that included the likes of Gigi Hadid, Hayley Williams and Selena Gomez.
And just recently, Delevingne could be seen bouncing merrily in a VIP box with Swift, as they watched Travis Kelce‘s Chiefs edge past the Buffalo Bills, 27-24:
Discussing the power couple in November last year, Delevingne revealed that she was “so happy” for Swift, noting that she is “always rooting for my girl.”
