'Daily contact': Premier League club are now pushing to sign £30m player from Chelsea - journalist

Everton remain in talks with Chelsea to sign one player from their Premier League rivals this summer.

It already looks like it is going to be a busy transfer window for Chelsea.

Tosin Adarabioyo has just arrived from Fulham, while several players are being linked with moves away from Stamford Bridge.

The above includes the likes of Armando Broja, Conor Gallagher and Trevoh Chalobah.

While Gallagher and Chalobah were part of the Chelsea first team for the whole of last season, Broja left the senior squad in the January transfer window to join west London rivals Fulham on loan.

Chelsea player could join Everton this summer

Everton do not look to be in the race for Gallagher or Chalobah.

However, the Toffees do appear to have a good chance of landing Broja.

According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Everton are trying to sign the striker from Chelsea in a potential £30m deal.

On X, he posted: “Everton are pushing to sign Armando Broja. Club in daily contact with Chelsea with a £30m package discussed.”

Broja’s loan spell at Fulham did not go to plan. He did not score a single goal or make a single start there.

That, however, does not look to have deterred Everton.

Should Chelsea sell Armando Broja to Everton?

For £30m, yes. Broja does not seem to be a player who Chelsea want to keep hold of, while he was unable to prove himself during his loan spell at Fulham.

If they can get that amount of money for him, it is good business.

As for Broja, it could be a good move for the 22-year-old. He will get more game time there and gets to remain in the Premier League.

Everyone basically wins here so it is a transfer that needs to happen this summer. If not, then you probably would not rule out Broja joining another English club on loan.
