Cops ID driver, 88, killed in 3-vehicle crash in Mount Laurel

Authorities have identified the woman killed following a three-vehicle crash in Mount Laurel last week as an 88-year-old township resident.

Patricia Pierson suffered a nose bleed in the crash Thursday afternoon at the intersection of Elbo Lane and Amaryllis Boulevard, Mount Laurel police said. When Pierson was taken to an area hospital to be treated, it was then learned she had a head injury and she died several hours later.

No one else was injured in the crash, which took place at 12:35 p.m. and remains under investigation.

No charges are expected to be filed, a police spokesman said
