New Cambridge City boss Jamie Cureton has bolstered his attacking ranks with the confirmation that George Smith has agreed to join the club.
The striker will link up with the Lilywhites following a 2023/24 campaign in which he showed a clinical touch for fellow Pitching In Isthmian League North Division side Maldon & Tiptree.
Smith bagged 19 goals to finish as the fourth highest scorer in the division, with a further three more coming in cup competitions. The attacker also showed his creative capabilities with 10 assists.
The 25-year-old has also previously turned out for the likes of Heybridge Swifts, Coggeshall, Hullbridge Sports and Hashtag United.
Smith has become the second new addition at City in recent days following the confirmation that goalkeeper Tom Middlehurst had agreed terms.
