David Sullivan confidant claims West Ham could bring 'unstoppable' £10m winger back to the PL

So West Ham United seem to be pushing ahead with a move to bring Wilfried Zaha back to the Premier League this summer.

West Ham have been heavily linked with a move to sign Wilfried Zaha already this summer, and have apparently been told to pay £10 million for his signature.

Julen Lopetegui and Tim Steidten are desperately searching for attacking reinforcements this summer, and appear to be close to securing a deal for Brazilian teenager Luis Guilherme.

Signing the 18-year-old will definitely be an exciting move and a good start to the Hammers’s summer business.

However, it would be nice to see one or two players with genuine Premier League experience rock up at the London Stadium this summer as well.

Zaha certainly fits into that category.

West Ham transfer business taking shape

Zaha is a player who has tormented the Hammers throughout the years.

He’s a player who you love if he plays for your club, but hate him if he’s lining up against you! That really is nothing more than a massive compliment to him.

I think West Ham need more players like that – someone who can rile up the opposition players with his brilliance and do the same to opposing fans with his aloof nature.

Lopetegui has to strengthen his left wing department urgently this summer, with Said Benrahma set to join Lyon on a permanent deal.

As things stand, we haven’t actually got a right-footed left winger, and Zaha would be a brilliant option for us.

Now it seems like the Hammers are pushing the boat out to bring the Ivory Coast international back to London this summer…

Wilfried Zaha to West Ham could well be on

The former Crystal Palace attacker has spent the last year out in Turkey, and has enjoyed a really successful campaign.

However, he could be set for a return to England before the start of the new season.

Claret and Hugh claim that Zaha is a firm transfer target for the Hammers this summer.

Described as one of the very best players in the Premier League by Sky Sports during his time with Palace, Zaha can be unplayable on his day.

Roy Hodgson once described him as ‘unstoppable’ (Evening Standard), and I really feel like he could make a big difference for us.

The 31-year-old is undoubtedly one of the very best dribblers in world football, and hardly ever gets dispossessed.

Sure, he may not be the player he once was, but he’s still more than good enough to make a big difference for the Hammers in the Premier League.

Zaha bagged 10 goals and five assists for Galatasaray during their league winning campaign last season (Transfermarkt).

It’s very clear that Lopetegui and Steidten are trying to focus their summer player recruitment on talented youngsters with high ceilings.

However, it would be wise to compliment the influx of youngsters with some genuine experience, and Wilfried Zaha would not only bring that to West Ham but he’d add real quality to our ranks as well.

Signing him for just £10 million this summer would be an absolute no-brainer for the Hammers as far as I’m concerned.
