Taylor Swift was 'concerned ex-boyfriend would spill secrets', former CIA operative says

A former CIA operative has taken to TikTok to express her thoughts about the lyrics in Taylor Swift’s new hit song, The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived.

Everyone’s favorite music queen Taylor Swift recently released her 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, sending fans into their theorizing frenzy. As the release came not long after breaking up with her long term boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, fans assumed the album was going to be all about them. In a shocking turn of events, the hit record is believed to have featured many songs about her on-off flame Matty Healy, who she began publicly seeing for a short time after calling it quits with Joe. Fans believe that one song in particular was about Healy, and now a former CIA operative has dissected the lyrics and revealed her thoughts.

Former CIA operative Tracy Walder, who dishes tales and tips from her time working in the government agency, has listened to the lyrics to read between the lines.

Tracy decided to give the song a go because she realized there were two ‘spy’ references in the wording.

“I thought two of the lines were particularly interesting”, Tracy (theunexpectedspy) said on her TikTok, describing the fan favorite lines: “Were you a sleeper cell spy?” / “In 50 years will all of this be declassified?”

Giving context to what a sleeper cell spy actually is, Tracy, who has worked on espionage cases, explained that it is a “spy of one country that has been sent to another” where they wait until they are “called to action” by their home country.

While the exact details surrounding the break-up of Taylor and the 1975 singer is still a mystery, Tracy was able to assure fans Taylor “doesn’t have anything nice to say about him” in The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived.

According to Tracy, Taylor is making it clear that “she can not trust him”, and is “acknowledging” that he has hung around her circle of trusted people for too long. The lyrical genius then reportedly goes on to even ask her ex “if he’s going to spill all of the secrets they shared”.

The 1975 frontman didn’t expect to be referenced in her new album

Matty Healy was reportedly “blindsided” by the supposed songs about him on the masterpiece album, with a source saying he “loved the attention” but was “taken aback” as they were never “serious”

The emotionally raw song is proof that at the end of the day, Tay just wants to be able to live her life in peace, without any of her ex flames throwing shade at her.

Thankfully for Ms. Swift, her Love Story has been positively glowing since she went public with her current boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce, last September. Fans believe the football star got his own song on the record, So High School.

The pair is so loved up that there have even been rumors of an engagement on the horizons, with Trav making numerous appearances at the sold-out Eras Tour.

Hopefully Tay has finally found her Mr perfect, and we get more songs like So High School to blast on repeat!
