Report: Premier League side keen on signing £50m Chelsea man, one of their players thinks he’s ‘unreal’

Reports have claimed that one Premier League club are keeping tabs on a Chelsea player for a potential move to sign him.

Chelsea need to sell this summer in order to facilitate another big transfer window that will give the best possible platform for new manager Enzo Maresca to succeed at Stamford Bridge.

They have been linked to a number of top targets, with one of their priorities at this stage seeming to be securing the signing of Michael Olise.

The Blues face serious competition for his signature, however his style of play seems to fit perfectly for what the new boss is likely to bring to the club.

This will probably mean there is a need to sell one of their current wingers, and the name that keeps cropping up as available is Raheem Sterling.

The England international endured a rough campaign last time out for the Blues, and towards the end of the season only rarely found himself in the starting side.

West Ham interested in signing Raheem Sterling

Now, another Premier League side have emerged as interested in signing him, with TBR exclusively claiming that West Ham are intrigued by the prospect of signing him.

There are still plenty of admirers for the 29-year-old, with one of them actually being a current Hammer.

Michail Antonio was full of praise for Sterling after playing against him last season, describing him as ‘unreal’.

However, Chelsea fans last season were not so complimentary, frequently being heard booing their own player from the stands.

It looks as if the Blues are looking a different route as far as their widemen go, even if they are not able to secure a deal for Olise this summer.

Instead, they are preferring to prioritise developing their younger talents in Mykhailo Mudryk and Noni Madueke, with the latter in particular impressing greatly in the final few games of last season under former manager Mauricio Pochettino.
