‘Keen on a move’: Chelsea’s top transfer target has decided he wants to join them this summer – journalist

It has been claimed that one of the players Chelsea really want to sign this summer is open to a move to Stamford Bridge.

The Blues are set to be busy this summer as they look to give the adequate backing to another new manager in West London.

Enzo Maresca was the man determined to take over from Mauricio Pochettino after the Argentine was relieved of his duties just one season into his tenure at the club.

After completing the signing of Tosin Adarabioyo early on, the Blues are now looking to strengthen at the other end of the pitch in the form of Michael Olise.

It emerged yesterday that they had approached Crystal Palace for talks, and were even willing to pay the release clause amount in order to get it over the line.

Michael Olise keen on move to Chelsea

Amid their interest, journalist Santi Aouna has claimed that the player in question is keen on a switch to Stamford Bridge.

He said: “Chelsea made contact with Crystal Palace regarding the possibility of signing Michael Olise. The 22 years old came close to sign to Chelsea last summer Olise is keen on a move to Chelsea.”

Reports from earlier this week state that the club have determined Olise as the number one target for them this summer, seemingly moving on from prioritising the addition of a new striker.

It was believed through all of last season that they were going to be pushing to sign Victor Osimhen, with it being well known that he was looking for a move away this summer.

However, instead their attention seems to have turned to Aston Villa youngster Jhon Duran, who has limited Premier League experience under his belt.

The Premier League sides are reportedly in talks about agreeing a permanent fee for the forward in the coming days.
