Fabrizio Romano shares new Conor Gallagher update

Taking to social media to give the update, Romano has now said that while Gallagher is being discussed by Villa, he is currently not part of the deal for Duran.

Gallagher will be happy to wait it out

The noise over Conor Gallagher’s future has been around for that long now that the midfielder is probably used to it by now.

Gallagher had a superb season with Chelsea and more than earned his spot in the England squad this summer.

Moves to Tottenham and Villa will both have different levels of appeal to him but we all know that deep down, he’d rather stay with Chelsea and captain his boyhood club.

Gallagher, then, will be happy to wait things out and see where he is in a few weeks time.

Of course, if Chelsea decide on selling, then he might take these links a bit more seriously.

But for now, his position is comfortable and not something he needs to worry about for now.
