'Will be discussed': Italian football journalist has shared Federico Chiesa update

With the summer transfer window now officially open, the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United will all be busy looking to make big signings.

The Gunners and the Reds will be looking to finally go all the way in the Premier League title race after falling just short last season.

Meanwhile, Spurs and the Magpies will be eager to break into the top four once again after missing out in 2023/24.

Federico Chiesa has emerged as a target for Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham and Newcastle in recent months, while the likes of Chelsea have also been linked.

The Juventus star faces an uncertain future at the Serie A club. His contract expires in 12 months’ time and renewal talks haven’t happened yet.

Now, Rudy Galetti has shared an update on Chiesa – including the player’s stance – amid such strong speculation with the Premier League.

What has been said about Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham and Newcastle target Federico Chiesa?

The Italian football journalist has taken to X to report that Chiesa would like to stay at Juve, but “the gaps that emerged in the last meeting will be discussed” after Euro 2024.

Galetti also reported that Roma have approached Chiesa’s agent, while a host of Italian and international clubs are also in pursuit of the 26-year-old.

Federico Chiesa would be a top acquisition for Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham and Newcastle alike.

He has proven himself at the highest level, having made over 250 appearances for Juve and Fiorentina combined.

Chiesa is also closing in on 50 caps for Italy, and was part of the Azzurri squad that won Euro 2020.

There’s a good chance that Chiesa could finally make his move this summer, and the world is his oyster.
