Artem Dovbyk was one of the stars in La Liga in the 2023/24 season.
The Ukraine international, who plays for Girona, was absolutely incredible and played a huge part in helping them qualify for the Champions League.
Dovbyk finished the season with 25 goals in all competitions, 24 of which came in the Spanish top-flight – more than any other player in the division.
That has made him a wanted man, with reports linking Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur with the 26-year-old, who has a £34 million release clause in his contract
Now, it looks like Arsenal have joined the race to sign him this summer.
Journalist Rudy Galetti has revealed that Arsenal have asked for information about Dovbyk as they look to strengthen their attack in the upcoming summer transfer window.
However, the Gunners face competition from other clubs, including Atletico Madrid and Napoli.
Galetti tweeted: “Arsenal asked for info on Artem Dovbyk, among the names on the list to strengthen the attack.
“Napoli – who already approached his entourage – are also in the race for the Ukraine striker, together with other MANY clubs – Atleti included.”

The scouting website has further compared him to a Manchester City superstar.
