'Paperwork pending: Fabrizio Romano has just shared exclusive weekend transfer news involving Tottenham

Tottenham could be about to get busy in the transfer market and Fabrizio Romano has said they’re close to letting one young player leave.

Spurs are expecting a busy summer of both incomings and outgoings and after manager Ange Postecoglou called for improvements, there’s movement expected.

Of course, part of ensuring the balance of the squad is right across the board will involve letting certain players leave.

Postecoglou is expected to allow a number of first-teamers, such as Gio Lo Celso and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, to depart.

However, there are also a number of talented young players at the club who need experience at first-team level and it looks like Tottenham have agreed to let one of their top stars go.

Tottenham agree deal to send Luka Vuskovic out on loan

According to Romano, delivering his own exclusive news on Vuskovic, it appears Spurs are ready to let the youngster out on loan again.

Taking to X to share his update on proceedings, Romano states that Vuskovic is set to depart Hajduk Split and make a move to Westerlo on loan.

As we know, Vuskovic is not yet a fully fledged Tottenham player but will join in 2025 after the club agreed to pay £12m for the youngster.

Still only 17, Spurs will be happy for Vuskovic to get exposure at first-team level.

Vuskovic one for the future

This is smart news all around for everyone involved.

For Vuskovic, he moves to a league where he’ll be comfortable enough playing while still getting exposure at first-team football.

For Tottenham, it gives one of the future stars an ideal development opportunity and means he will arrive in North London a more rounded and experienced player.

Clearly, at £12m for a teenager, Tottenham have high hopes for Vuskovic and this move should only bring good things to a potential future Premier League star.
