They are as follows:

  • Group D: Poland v Netherlands – 2pm
  • Group C: Slovenia v Denmark – 5pm
  • Group C: Serbia v England – 8pm

Poland v Netherlands

The first game of the day is between Poland and the Netherlands as they face off in the opening match of Group D.

Held at the Volksparkstadion, viewers will be able to watch the tie on BBC, which is a free-to-air channel for all those who have a valid TV licence.

Team news

Poland will have to face their Euro 2024 opener without their star man Robert Lewandowski who is out with a thigh injury. Centre-back Pawel Dawidowicz and forward Karol Swiderski are also doubts for the tie after picking up knocks in the friendly against Turkey.

For the Dutch, Frenkie de Jong and Teun Koopmeiners both pulled out of the squad with an ankle and groin injury. Ian Maatsen and Joshua Zirkzee have been called up as their replacements. Brian Brobbey is also out with a hamstring injury.

Serbia v England

For England’s first game of the tournament, they will face Serbia in the second match of Group C.

Gareth Southgate’s men will be hosted at the Veltins-Arena with the match available to watch on BBC, which is a free-to-air channel for all those who have a valid TV licence.

Again, like the Poland vs Netherlands match, if you don’t have access to a TV, there will be a free live stream for the game available on BBC iPlayer.

Team News

Serbia’s biggest debate going into the game is whether to continue with striker duo Aleksandar Mitrovic and Dusan Vlahovic up top.

England will have to decide whether to risk John Stones who was forced off against Iceland last week. Luke Shaw has returned to training but it remains to be seen whether Southgate goes for the Man United man or Kieran Trippier.
