Lace your boots and put on your bibs because Newbury Racecourse will be hosting a running event this summer.
RunThrough, the UK’s largest and Europe’s fastest-growing running events company, has announced that the Newbury Racecourse Half Marathon, 10k, and 5k event is set to take place on Saturday, August 31.
The flat and fast courses will feature multiple laps, with the 5k participants completing one lap, 10k runners tackling two laps, and half marathon competitors covering four laps of the racecourse circuit.
RunThrough co-founder Matt Wood said: “We are thrilled to bring the Newbury Racecourse Half Marathon, 10k, and 5k to our line-up of events.
“Participants will enjoy the unique setting of one of Britain’s leading horseracing venues, combined with the fast and flat course that is perfect for all running abilities.”

5k tickets cost £25, the 10k is £28 and the half marathon costs £32 to compete in.
