The iconic queen of Toddlers and Tiaras has given her verdict on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s romance, and initially she’s not convinced.
The reality TV star sat down with her famous family and gave her insight into some of the world’s most recognizable celebrity couples. She may not be keeping up with Kardashians nor Jennifer Lopez, though, as she seemed to give herself away because she wasn’t aware J Lo tied the knot with a former flame. How could she forget Ben Affleck? Regardless, Honey Boo Boo did admit there was one red flag she saw in Travis Kelce, and she can’t seem to shake it off. Let’s hope Taylor Swift did, though.
Honey Boo Boo’s take on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s relationship
When asked what she felt about Traylor – their adorable couple name – she had some strong thoughts on the subject of pop queen and Super Bowl king.
Honey Boo Boo (Alana) thinks Travis Kelce yelling at coach Andy Reid during the big game was a major ‘red flag’.
The moment in question was picked by a lot of fans of the sport as well, as they slammed the tight end for shouting and bumping into the coach on the sidelines.
However, Coach Reid later spoke out about it and clarified there were no hard feelings. The 34-year-old himself also brought it up during an episode of his podcast New Heights, which he co-hosts with brother Jason.
He explained emotions run high during the game, especially the most important one of the NFL season, but admitted there was no bad blood on either side.
“Girl, why are you so mad? It’s a game!” Alana cried.
Aside from thinking Trav’s ability to control his emotions on the field, off the field, she thinks it’s Taylor’s decision and that’s all that counts.
She added: “Taylor, girl, if you’re happy, I’m happy”.
Travis Kelce gives fans ‘the ick’
It’s not the first time Swifties have brought up how the tight end gave them the ‘ick’.
When he burst into singing Viva Las Vegas at this year’s Super Bowl, fans were falling over themselves at Taylor’s reaction.
Viewers were convinced she was ‘cringing’ on the inside as millions of fans watched the moment live – and millions more afterward on social media.
However, during the After Party at a nightclub, Trav began serenading Taylor with her own song, You Belong To Me.
In a clip of a chat with a fan after, Taylor admitted it ‘was the most romantic thing ever’, so she doesn’t seem to mind it.
