West Ham United manager Julen Lopetegui apparently has a new top transfer target this summer.
Julen Lopetegui has been linked with numerous different players already in the summer, as the West Ham boss embarks on a huge squad rebuild.
12 Hammers are being linked with the exit door, although only half of them may end up leaving this summer.
Meanwhile, Lopetegui is said to be keen to sign at least six new players, and he allegedly wants the majority of his business wrapped up before our pre-season campaign begins on July 20th.
That’s a good plan. The sooner that Lopetegui can get his squad together the better, with such a big turnover of players needed this summer.
The Spaniard desperately needs to strengthen his squad in pretty much every single department, but the forward line seems to be where his focus is right now.

So the Spaniard is certainly ramping up his extensive search for new players now it seems.
Luis Guilherme has already joined West Ham and Lopetegui seems to be intent on adding to the capture of the young Brazilian.
TEAMtalk claim that Hull City star Jaden Philogene is the Hammers’ new top transfer target this summer.
It is suggested that Southampton and a handful of European clubs want to sign the former Aston Villa youngster as well.
After a fairly nondescript loan spell with Cardiff in the 2022/23 campaign, Philogene really burst onto the seen last season with Hull City, after he joined them from Villa on a permanent deal.
He lit up the Championship with some truly exceptional performances for the Tigers, and he made everyone sit up and take notice of him.
Now, he could be set for his big move to the Premier League and boy, would I love him at West Ham!

Grant me one wish and it would be for Lopetegui to bring the Hull starlet to the Loindon Stadium this summer.
The 22-year-old bagged an impressive 12 goals and six assists in 32 Championship games for Hull City last season.
He possesses absolutely blistering pace and has a really low centre of gravity that makes him an incredible dribbler.
Philogene is a right-footed left winger – the type of player Lopetegui doesn’t currently possess amongst his ranks.
The Hull City star is an unbelievable talent and at just 22, he will undoubtedly continue to improve over the next six or seven years.

What a talent, what a player, and what an unbelievable signing he would be for West Ham this summer.
FLW claim that Hull City could demand around £20-25 million for Philogene, and in my opinion, that would represent really good value for West Ham.
He would also come with the added bonus of helping the Hammers fulfil our homegrown player quota.
