Planning is well under way for a village fete returning on Sunday, July 7.
Theale’s annual Village Summer Fete will kick off from noon at the Recreation Ground.

Guests are guaranteed an afternoon of entertainment for all the family, including children's fairground rides, inflatables and a Community Games area, brought by headline sponsor Berkshire Youth Football League.
The area will feature a range of traditional games including the ever-popular coconut shy, lucky dip and hook a duck.

Arena displays from local community groups include JG Dance, C&M Gymnastics, CT Martial Arts, Theale Primary School and Theale Green School.
And Theale Social Club will also be open for visitors to grab a drink and enjoy music from local bands in the live music marquee, including local rising star Zoe Badman.

A number of craft stalls and charities will also be attending, including the Motor Neurone Disease Association and Carebus Community Transport.
A baking competition, dog show and grand raffle will also be running with some fantastic prizes on offer, including £150 in cash, courtesy of Arlington Business Park.
The organisers are recruiting volunteers to help with planning the event, as well as on the day itself.
