Tottenham Hotspur are likely to be busy in the summer transfer market as Ange Postecoglou looks to bolster his ranks.
The Spurs boss enjoyed a solid maiden season at the helm of the north London club, steering them to fifth in the Premier League table.
However, Tottenham could’ve secured a top-four spot but for a downturn in form, so they’ll be eager to strengthen and ensure they can last the distance.
Spurs have been linked with a multitude of top players in recent weeks, including attacking talents who could give them more firepower.
However, a report has now emerged claiming Tottenham may be about to drop their interest in a Premier League winger said to be on their radar.

Tottenham ready to drop Jarrod Bowen interest
The player in question is West Ham’s Jarrod Bowen, who has been linked with a number of English top-flight sides in recent weeks.
GiveMeSport have reported that Spurs, as well as Liverpool and Newcastle, have had their eyes on the 27-year-old with a view to an approach.
However, the report claims that the Hammers aren’t interested in losing Bowen this summer, and won’t entertain any bids lower than £100million.
As a result, Tottenham are unlikely to continue their pursuit of Bowen for such a hefty fee, and are ready to move on to alternative targets, added the report.
Spurs apparently made a tentative approach in order to find out whether a deal would be possible, but it has become clear that it would be ‘close to impossible’.
Bowen to Tottenham always unlikely as a summer move
Bowen is one of the Premier League’s most exciting attacking talents, a player Paul Merson has described as a “manager’s dream” who “gives you everything”.
However, he is also arguably one of the most untouchable players in the West Ham ranks, a fan favourite with a contract that runs until 2030.
There is also a rivalry between Tottenham and the Hammers, so if Bowen was going to leave his club for any other team, Spurs would probably be pretty low down the list.
