Report: ‘Wonderful’ player has decided he only wants to join Chelsea, they’ve now asked about him

Despite the fact that Chelsea have not been up to scratch on the pitch in the last two seasons, it doesn’t seem to have had too much of an effect on their business off it.

With a number of Premier League sides interested in a deal, the Blues were the ones who reached an agreement with Tosin Adarabioyo to bring him in on a free transfer.

They have also made themselves the side who future superstar Estevao Willian decided he would be best off joining, with there being a seriously exciting future ahead at Stamford Bridge.

In the present, a new name has emerged near the top of the list for a potential addition to the first team squad in this transfer window.

It has been reported that they areinterested in a deal to sign Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Leicester City.

The 25-year-old has impressed many in his career so far, with former manager Brendan Rodgers describing him as ‘wonderful’.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall only wants to join Chelsea

According to The Athletic, it is only a move to Chelsea that would convince the midfielder to leave his current club this summer.

One man who knows of the Englishman’s talents better than new manager Enzo Maresca, who coached him to his best individual campaign last season.

The feeling of admiration seems to be mutual between the pair, with Dewsbury-Hall claiming that he believes the Italian is going to be a top manager.

Plenty of midfield depth of Chelsea

It remains to be seen if the Blues believe they are going to make this deal, with it fair to say they have plenty of talent already in the midfield roles.

Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo were both brought in for club-record fees in consecutive transfer windows, and they have backed those additions up with a hopefully now-fit Romeo Lavia.

Despite the fact Conor Gallagher remains reportedly up for sale for the right price, it doesn’t look as if he will be on the move before this season gets underway anyway.
