Epic Games partners with Ferrari to introduce an in-game 296 GTB.
Fortnite Battle Royale players will soon be able to drive Ferraris around the game’s expansive landscape. The car manufacturer’s Twitter account dropped a ground-breaking teaser image, which included Fortnite’s iconic Battle Bus in the reflection of a Ferrari 296 GTB. According to several reputable leakers, the vehicle should appear in-game tomorrow, July 22, for players worldwide to experience. It’s another unfathomable achievement from Epic Games, which continues to establish collaborations with anything and everything.

Ferrari’s Twitter account tweeted out an image depicting a red model 296 GTB with a Battle Pass clearly in the car’s shiny reflection. This lone message confirms what many leakers believed would come to fruition over the last few days. Fortnite cars first became driveable in Chapter 2 - Season 3, with a pick-up truck, semi-truck, sedan and sports model.
Since then, we’ve seen a speedy Iron Man-themed vehicle in Chapter 2 - Season 4 and this season introduced high-speed government sedans. This partnership with Ferrari marks the first of its kind in Fortnite, and several leakers released the Ferrari’s in-game imagining.
A Look at the 296 GTB In-Game

HYPEX took to Twitter with a screenshot of the Ferrari 296 GTB in-game. Its appearance is a bit smaller than the traditional sports model in Fortnite, and we can assume this will be the fastest vehicle without question. Epic Games has not directly referenced the Ferrari partnership on Twitter or through a blog post, but something should surface later today. There is no indication of how long this in-game collaboration will last, but it will likely begin tomorrow.
