IF YOU'RE WAITING ON A MIC HARDTOP FORD BRONCO, THE AFTERMARKET HAS A SOLUTION

While the Ford Bronco continues to be a highly sought after SUV, there continues to be headwinds when it comes to fulfilling orders. From long waits and price increases, to supply issues regarding the molded in color hard tops, some customers are still left in Limbo. That said, Ford has made a fair bit of headway in aiding those in line, but that hasn’t stopped the aftermarket from coming up with a clever solution for customers waiting on MIC hardtop or from wanting to switch out their canvas top to a solid one.

Advanced Fiberglass Concepts Ford Bronco Hardtop: Details

Advanced Fiberglass Concepts is now taking pre-orders for their 2021-2022 Ford Bronco Hardtops. There is a single piece or modular unit (similar to what’s offered from Ford but with fewer pieces involved) available, each of which will run you $5,250 and $5,750 respectively. Both options are offered in three variations: White UV Textured, Black UV textured, and High-Build Primer.

The White texture is described as being close to Ford’s Oxford White where the black is similar to Shadow Black as seen on the Bronco’s build and price tool, which recently added the Raptor and Everglades models to their lineup. The primer option is available for those wishing to color match their product although the website doesn’t mention anything about painting the parts for you.

There are no installation how-to manuals or videos up on their site at the time of this writing however the company assures that all necessary components like glass, hinges, rear struts, mounting hardware and plug-and-play defroster are included with your order. It should also be noted that due to their closeness in weight to the OEM part, the hardtops are compatible with roof racks.

Like the offered sound deadening headliner on Bronco’s build and price tool, AFC also offers sound deadening as an upgrade of $575. Tack on a wiper and washer assembly as well for an additional $250. Also, the company only offers this solution for four-door models only, at least for the time being.
