Last month a memo was sent out to Ford dealers that detailed price increases for the 2022 Ford F-150 range. But now that the configurator for the 2022 F-150 has gone live, there are no longer any uncertainties about the memo regarding America’s top-selling truck, and the increases aren’t far off from the adjustments we previously reported.
2022 Ford F-150: Price Increase Details
The base XL trim is the only model Ford hasn’t given a significant price increase for, which has a starting MSRP of $29,990. According to Carbuzz, that works out to be around $1,050 more than the 2021 XL based on pricing when the range first came out. Other trims see price increases that are a couple of thousand dollars more than before.
After the Ford F-150 XL, the range will now start at $38,130 MSRP for the XLT trim. The Lariat will follow that at $48,140, the Tremor at $52,235, and the King Ranch at $58,610. Pricing for the Platinum will now start at $61,390, and the top of the range Limited starts at $75,835. For the sake of comparison, the 2021 Limited maxed out at just under $71,000. Of course, these price increases will also be affected by how you spec the truck, be it the drivetrain, body style, or engine. The iconic F-150 Raptor will now have you shelling out $68,674 before destination and taxes.
The 2022 Ford F-150 range has received a few changes for this current model year, including the deletion of colors like Guard, Lead Foot, and Kodiak Brown. Meanwhile, Atlas Blue is a new option across the range, depending on what packages you choose. Additionally, the 3.0-liter Power Stroke diesel engine is no longer available; however, you can still get the two EcoBoost turbocharged V6 engines, the Coyote 5.0-liter V8 and the 3.5-liter PowerBoost V6 Hybrid. Beyond that and some additional packages, nothing else has changed for the 2022 F-150.
