Bette Midler has only gone and shared that she wants to join the RHOBH Beverly Hills franchise, which is executively produced by Andy Cohen. He has since reacted to the potential casting…

She’s the popular actress, best known for starring in Halloween classic Hocus Pocus, but it looks like Bette Midler is hoping to switch it up by joining the reality TV game. Bravo, is that you?

Bette Midler wants to join RHOBH

With Bette Midler spending more time in Los Angeles, she’s set her sights on joining The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast.

She tweeted: “Is it too late for me to become a Real Housewife of Beverly Hills?”

The actress added: “I’ve never watched it, but I am in the mood to talk some s***. And to get paid for it? A dream! #RHOBH.”

The tweet secured more than 14K likes and even garnered attention from the executive producer.

He responded to the iconic post and said on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live: “How did we get so lucky? As for Miss Midler, the divine Miss M, to land her eyeballs on our universe.”

Andy Cohen ‘excited’ over casting icon

While Andy feels “very excited” for Bette to join RHOBH, he’s actually met her before. In 1997, when he worked on 48 Hours on CBS, he booked the actress for a movie she was shooting.

He said: “She did not care for this process of ours at all. You know, we were following her with our cameras and she’s like, “What are you doing?” We’re like, “Well, this is kind of how we do it.”

“My only concern as I was really thinking this through is I don’t know she would love us showing up with cameras running, gunning her. You know, I think she likes, you know, fine setups and things,” he added.

Andy continued: “I will be very excited for Bette Midler to join The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Bette Midler is a superstar. How much would that cost, she said she wants a lot of money to s*** talk.”

It would only take a second for Bette to become RHOBH’s “grand dame,” Andy reckons. When co-host John Hill suggested the actress came in as a friend, the executive producer thought up all scenarios.

He said: “Bette FaceTimes Kyle [Richards]. “What are you wearing? Is this white enough for the white party? What are you wearing to Garcelle [Beauvais] ‘s barbecue?”
